1. Service Agreement:

By engaging the services of WalkEase Dog Walking, the client agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

​

2. Standard of Care:

a. The client acknowledges that WalkEase Dog Walking will provide standard care and attention to your dog(s) during the agreed-upon walking schedule.

b. WalkEase Dog Walking will not be held responsible for any pre-existing health conditions, injuries, or illnesses of the dog(s).

3. Safety Measures:

a. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies.

b. The client is responsible for providing a properly fitted collar or harness for the dog(s) during walks.

c. WalkEase Dog Walking reserves the right to use a standard leash or a leash provided by the client.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation:

a. Walks will be scheduled based on mutual agreement between the client and WalkEase Dog Walking.

b. The client is required to provide 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

c. If we are unable to gain access to the dog on the day, the walk will still be charged at the full rate.

5. Payments:

a. Payment for services is due weekly, prior to the first walk in that cycle. 

b. Late payments may incur additional charges.

6. Liability:

a. WalkEase Dog Walking will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the dog(s) during walks.

b. The client agrees that WalkEase Dog Walking is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to the dog(s) or client's property unless it results from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

c. WalkEase Dog Walking carries public liability insurance coverage of up to 5 million dollars, designed to cover third-party claims arising from incidents that may occur during dog walking services.

7. Key Handling:

a. If the client provides a key for access to the client's premises, WalkEase Dog Walking will take reasonable steps to safeguard the key. However, WalkEase Dog Walking is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the key.

8. Termination of Services:

a. Either party may terminate services with a written notice provided in advance.

b. WalkEase Dog Walking reserves the right to terminate services immediately in the case of unsafe or aggressive behaviour from your dog(s).

9. Privacy:

a. WalkEase Dog Walking respects the privacy of its clients and will not disclose any personal information to third parties without consent.

​

10. Photo and Video Release:

a. The client grants permission for WalkEase Dog Walking to take photos or videos of the dog(s) during walks for promotional or documentation purposes.

b. These materials may be used on WalkEase Dog Walking's website or social media channels.

11. Weather Conditions:

a. WalkEase Dog Walking reserves the right to modify or cancel scheduled walks in the event of extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain, thunderstorms, or extreme heat.

b. Every effort will be made to notify the client in advance of any necessary changes.

12. Pet Health Emergencies:

a. In the event of a health emergency, WalkEase Dog Walking will make reasonable attempts to contact the client immediately.

b. If the client cannot be reached, WalkEase Dog Walking is authorised to seek veterinary care for the dog(s) at the client's expense.

13. Updates and Communication:

a. WalkEase Dog Walking will provide regular updates on the dog(s) and their well-being via text, email, or a designated communication method.

b. The client agrees to inform WalkEase Dog Walking of any changes in the dog(s)' health or behaviour.

14. Special Requests:

a. Any special requests or specific instructions regarding the care of the dog(s) should be communicated in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

15. Referral Program:

a. WalkEase Dog Walking may offer referral incentives to clients who refer new customers. Details of the referral program will be communicated separately.

16. Client Feedback:

a. WalkEase Dog Walking welcomes feedback from clients and will use it to continually improve services. Clients are encouraged to communicate any concerns or suggestions. 

​

17. Changes to Terms:

a. WalkEase Dog Walking reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.

​

18. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.

​

By engaging the services of WalkEase Dog Walking, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
