  • How do I get started?
Simply click “Enquire Now" to send us your initial enquiry. Be sure to include what service you are interested in, and whether you would like to make a regular or casual booking. From there, we will be in touch to schedule a free consultation in your home prior to beginning any services.
  • Are Meet & Greets necessary?
Yes. They offer the perfect opportunity to answer any remaining questions you may have, prior to commencing our services. Meet & Greets also allow us to get to know you and your pooch, and for them to get to know us. This can be especially helpful for anxious or shy dogs who take a little more time to open up. Building a bond with your beloved pooch can help put your mind at ease, knowing that they will be happy and comfortable whilst on our walks.
  • Are you insured?
Yes, we are! We have Public Liability Insurance, which is specifically tailored to dog walking, and we are covered for up to $5 million.
  • Do you provide updates?
Yes, we do! We post photo and video updates of all of our walks on our Instagram page (@walkease_dogwalking). We also provide information collected from our Garmin watch upon request, including a detailed map of where your pooch walked. Any additional information that we think may be of use will be sent to you via message.
  • What is your protocol for bad weather?
We walk rain, hail or shine! The only circumstance where a walk may be cancelled is during thunderstorms or extreme heat. We also towel dry your dog after each walk to ensure they are nice and dry before going home.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
The majority of our clients book in regular weekly walks, which means we have limited spots available to new and casual bookings. To make sure that we can cater to these audiences, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your pooches walk. Last-minute cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at full-price. Thank you for understanding.
  • When are you available to walk my dog?
We are open to new bookings Monday - Thursday. We also accept weekend bookings upon request.
  • I only require occasional walks. Is this something you provide?
Yes. We are happy to provide services as you require them, assuming we have spots available. For Group Walk bookings, we ask that you enquire at the beginning of the week that you wish to book into to confirm our availability. As our Group Walks are set up for regular weekly clients, we cannot accept casual bookings for more than a week in advance. This allows new clients to secure a particular time/day on a permanent basis.
  • Do I need to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?
No. We will discuss an appropriate pick-up plan that is suitable for you. If you are going to be home, we will notify you of our expected arrival time.
  • Do I have to leave a key out?
Depending on your property and where your dog spends the day, we may collect them through a side entrance, you can leave us a key to return after the walk, or you can give us a spare key. We will always make sure your home is fully secured before we leave.
  • Does the hour walk include travel time?
No, it does not. Our Group Walks include 60 minutes of walk time, and up to 90 minutes of travel time. Additionally, It is not uncommon for us to extend the duration of the walk if the pups are having a great time, or if they look like they need a little exercise. During pick-ups and drop-offs, your furry friend will enjoy the luxuries of our air-conditioned car (or riding windows down), fitted with shock absorbing seat belts and comfortable seat covers.
  • Where do you walk?
We go everywhere - from the beach, to a local park, to around your own neighbourhood. Your dog's safety is our top priority, so we ensure they are away from traffic and only let them off leash when it is safe to do so.
  • How many dogs do you walk at any one time?
We walk a maximum of 5 dogs per group. We feel that this is the perfect number that ensures every dog has the best experience possible, whilst remaining under safe and effective control.
  • Do you walk off-lead?
We cater to both on and off-lead walks. What service we provide is dependent on what you require, and what is suitable for your pup. We also offer long lead walks for dogs whose recall is not off-leash ready, to provide some extra freedom whilst maintaining their safety.
  • What if something happens to my dog whilst on a walk?
Your dog will always be under close supervision whilst on our outdoor adventures, but we understand that accidents do occur. In the case that something does happen, you will be notified immediately. We have protocols in place for various possible events (snake bites, minor injuries) and have completed Animal First Aid training (RSPCA accredited) to ensure the safety of all dogs in our care. If you have any specific concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
  • What happens if my dog doesn’t get on with another dog?
It is our mission to create a safe and fun environment for all of the dogs in our care. If your dog does not get on with another, we will make sure that they are not paired up on future walks.
  • My dog doesn’t get on with other dogs, can you still walk them?
Yes, we can! We offer Private Walks to those dogs who require a little extra attention. Check out our 'Services" page to learn more.
  • How much do you charge?
Please check out our "Services" page for prices.
  • How do I pay, and when is payment due?
